What can I expect?
You’ll discuss your issues in depth with the practitioner. Your pulses and your tongue will be observed to insure proper Chinese Medicine diagnosis. During the treatment you will lay down to receive acupuncture and your time with the needles will vary between 20-40 minutes. Your whole appointment from beginning to end can last anywhere from 60 to 90 minutes. Wear loose clothing so that your legs, arms, back, and abdomen can be easily accessed. Most people find the treatment very relaxing—another reason why it helpful with pain relief and stress.
